When using the 123D Catch app on Iphone, the navigating wheel would tell you in what angle you should take the photos so that the object is scanned.
Then upload the 3D object to my Autodesk account, and I can download my model and modify it in 123D Catch on my computer.
After cleaning the background, my model is modified and generate to a better model in 123D Make. Then I can start to turn the 3D model into what I want to print.
In 123D Make, I can decide which way I want to slice the object to get the shape of the template. I choose "curve", and by changing the slice direction and numbers of the pieces 123D Make finalise a
scenario that would generate a good template. What I need to do next is to adjust the parameters to match the laser cutting machine settings and the size and thickness of the material I choose.
At last I come up with these plans of on the sheets I choose.
